| 授業概要 Course Overview |
日本人学生および留学生が国際的な医学・医療問題の英文記事や論文を読み、英語で討論を行う。 | This discussion seminar is open to all students in the medical program including international students. We will read current issue articles in publications such as Nature, and students will be encouraged to think about and express opinions about those issues. |

本講義では日本人と本学に留学する医学大学院生を対象として、英語コミュニケーション能力の育成を目指す。また他国における医療の特性（医療実践、それに関わる経済・社会・福祉問題など）を考慮しつつ、日本の特性（例えば、国民皆医療保険・介護保険・少子高齢化社会）に関する表現力を向上させる。 | This class aims to raise the communicative ability of students concerning issues related to medical fields. These issues could include social and economic topics, such as health insurance and demographic problems. |

毎週火曜日6時限に、セミナー形式で英語を通した医学・医学常識の習得とコミュニケーションを、15回実施。授業で用いる記事や論文を1週間前にメールにて配布するので、クラス前に読む（ホームワーク）。また、内容に関わる情報を集め、授業で共有して検討する。 | Tuesdays, 6th Class (16:45~18:00), Autumn ABC (15 classes). Reading materials distributed in advance as homework. |
