授業概要 Course overview |
Students will learn pathogenic factors, preventive measures, and treatments of invasive infectious diseases, drug-resistant organism infections, and nosocomial infections through epidemiological studies. | Students will read the latest original papers related to infectious diseases, understand the purposes, methods, and results of the research, and discuss the significance, problems, and remaining issues of the research. | Students will learn basic techniques for researching infectious diseases, plan and perform investigations on their own, and discuss the results. |

Wed 19:00- Students will present their research objectives, methods, results and their significance, and future research to be conducted, take questions and comments, and respond to them in the assigned class. |
Mon 8:00- Assign students in order for the selection of an original paper and the explanation of its content. The assigned students should report in advance the selected paper and read and understood before the class. In class, the outline will be explained to the instructor and other students within the specified time, and questions will be answered. |
Mon 18:30-, Teu 8:30-, Wed 8:30- After setting the research theme, students will learn the basics of the research method, focusing on those related to their own research theme. Students will perform experiments based on their own experimental plans, and present and discuss the results. Based on these results and discussions, a subsequent experiment plan is drawn up, and the cycle of performing experiments, presenting the results, and making discussions is repeated. |

成績評価方法 Grading Criteria |
Students are evaluated by the achievement of the objectives listed in the SBO. - Good achieved under supervision in the SBOs 1 and 2: Pass (C). - Good achieved under supervision in the SBOs 1 - 3, and actively conducted SBO 4: Pass (B). SBOs 1 - 3 will be evaluated based on a brief report in terms of presentation and dicsussion. - Excellent achievement in SBOs 1-4, and good achievement in SBOs 5-7: (A) - Outstanding achievement with enough evidence in all SBOs : Pass (A+) |
