| 授業概要 Course Overview |
研究指導教員の個別指導によって、学位論文のテーマの設定に必要な基礎的知識の取得方法とその内容について学ぶ。また討論を通じて各自の研究テーマを設定し、その研究実施に必要な研究方法を選択し、必要な申請手続きを行い、博士論文作成の見通しを立てる。 | Students learn fundamental knowledges required to set their PhD research subjects and how to obtain them under the instruction of their research supervisors. Then the students determine their research subjects as well as the methods to fulfill their research questions. The students then submit necessary applications for the PhD research, and make up a prospect for completing the dissertation. |

Students will take training in each laboratory to enhance knowledge and communication skills to explain following items; - current research questions in the relevant field, - significance of the PhD research subject, - study design of the PhD research, - how to apply for the necessary procedures - expected research results and how to interpret them |

到達目標の達成度に関して、指導教員が日々の議論を通して評価する。 研究指導教員の指導に従い、目標を大旨達成できれば合格（C以上）と評価する。学生自身の実力で目標の達成ができるようになったと判断されればB以上と評価する。独立して優れた研究を推進する知識と実行力が備わったと判断されればAと評価し、特に優れていると判断された場合はA+と評価する（上位10%）。 |
Research supervisors ebvaluates the achievement of Course Objectives based on the daily discussions. The students who; - are capable of fulfilling the Course Objectives 1, 2, 3 and 4 independently, and showed good performance in the progress report, are evaluated as A. Those who showed exceptional performance are evaluate as A+ (top 10%). - are capable of fulfilling Course Objectives 1, 2, 3 and 4 independently are evaluated as B or higher grades, - fulfill the Course Objectives 1, 2, 3 and 4 under the guidance of the supervisor are evaluated as C or higher grades. |
