授業概要
Course Overview		 学位プログラム担当教員あるいは招聘された講演者の講演を聞き、討論を行うことにより、医学学位プログラム修了者に拓ける多様な将来像を認識し、自らのキャリアパスについて深く考察する。同級生や教員との議論を通じて、その実現に向けて、博士課程においてどのように学修するかの計画を立てる。研究指導教員の指導を受けて、今後の学習の目標と計画についてレポートを作成し、評価を受ける。 In this first course of the Doctoral program in Biomedical Science, the students study the aims and objectives of the program, curriculum policies, lineups and time tables of the curriculum, and possible research topics in the program. In the career path seminar, the students recognize a wide variety of possible future careers through lectures by guest lecturers, have discussions with their classmates, and then make study plans for the program.

Course Objectives (Learning Outcomes)
←SBO(Specific Behavior Objectives		 将来のキャリアパスの多様性を理解し、自身のキャリアパスについて考え、その実現に必要な要素を明確にし、博士課程における学修計画を作成して以下を身につける。
1. 課程修了後のキャリアパスの多様性について説明できる。
2. 科目学修、博士論文研究、キャリアパスについて教員や同期生と討論することができる。
3. 自身のキャリアパス、科目学修、博士論文研究の目的と計画をデザインすることができる。		 To understand a diversity of future careers and make a study plan during the doctoral program.
1. To be able to explain a wide variety of possible future careers.
2. To discuss about career path, study plan, research theme with faculties and classmates.
3. To write a report on study plans and desirable future career.

・世界で活躍される研究者、知識人によるキャリアパス講演を拝聴する。
・演者、教員、同期生との討論により、キャリアパスにおける問題点を明らかにし、その解決方法を考える。
・討論や発表を通して、プレゼンテーション能力及びコミュニケーション能力を育成する。		 Schedule will be announced when fixed.
・Seminar about carrier path by researchers and intellectuals.
・Training to find problems in carrier path and consider solutions through discussion with speakers, faculties, colleagues etc.
・Training to acquire presentation skills and communication skills through presentation and discussion.

成績評価方法
Grading Phylosophy		 セミナーでのグループ別討論への参加態度、キャリアパスについての発表、 科目学修と博士論文研究の目的と計画に関するレポートで総合的に評価する。
セミナー内容、自身のキャリアパスおよび学習計画に関するレポートが提出されれば合格(C 以上)と判断する。 講演会と討論に積極的に参加し、課程修了後のキャリアパスの多様性について理解した上で自身の学修の目標と計画を設定しているとレポートから判断されればB以上と判断する。 明確なキャリアパスを設定し、科目学修と博士論文研究について明確な目的を持ち、優れた実施計画を設定していると判断されればA と判断する。これに加え、活発に討論に参加し、他の学生にも有益な貢献ができたと判断されればA+と判断する（最上位10%）。		 The students are evaluated by the activity of the presentation and discussion at the career path seminar, in addition to the performance of their reports. In addition to the above requirements, the students who;
- Fulfill the requirements for grade A, and further contribute to others by active and useful discussions in the seminar are evaluated as A+ (top 10%),
- Understand the aims and objectives of the program well and write excellent reports on their future plans are evaluated as A (upper 25%),
- Write good reports suitable for their future career plans are evaluated as B,
- Through initiation seminar, understand the aims and objectives of the program and curriculum, and submit the report on their study plans for the program, are awarded a passing grade (C or above).

授業外における学修方法： 研究指導教員と相談して、自身の学修目標を設定し、科目学修と博士論文研究の計画を作成する。		 Training 100%
Out-of-class learning: Discuss with research supervisors, and set up the student’s own aim of studies in the Doctoral Program in Biomedical Sciences, make plans for course work, and consider the purpose and design of the doctoral thesis research.
