授業概要 Course Overview	研究指導教員の指導のもとで、国際会議で自分の研究成果について発表する準備を行い、国際会議に参加する。会議における自分の発表に関する討論内容、他の研究者の発表から学んだこと、他の研究者の発表に関する討論内容、会議で学んだことを自らの今後の研究にどのように活かしていくかについてレポートにまとめ報告する。	In  this  subject,  students  present  and  discuss  about  their  researches  in conferences  held  overseas  of  international  conferences  in  Japan  when  its  official  language is English. They also need to make questions to presentations given by other speakers, and discuss abouttheir researches.

授業の到達目標（学修成果） Course Objectives (Learning Outcomes) ←SBO(Specific Behavior Objectives	自分自身の研究成果について、英語で発表し、当該分野の世界の研究者と討論するとともに、医科学の広い分野の英語での研究発表を理解し、他の発表に英語で発表し討論できるようになる。 具体的な到達目標： １. 自分自身の実験研究の目的、方法、実験結果とその意義について国際会議で英語で発表する。 ２. 自分自身の実験研究に対する質問に答え、自分の発表が世界の研究者にどのように受け入れられているかを知る。 ３. 国際会議における発表内容に対する英語の質問とコメントを理解し、英語で討論するとともに討論の内容を以後の研究の質の向上に反映できる。 4. 他の発表内容を英語で理解し、その意義について英語で討論するとともに、提言を行う。 5. 国際会議での発表抄録、自分の発表に関する討論内容、他の研究者の発表から学んだこと、他の研究者の発表に関する討論内容、会議で学んだことを自らの今後の研究にどのように活かしていくかについて、レポートにまとめ報告する。	To be able to present and discuss about your research in English, to understand presentations by other researchers in various medical science fields, and to discuss their researches in English. Specific Objectives: 1. To present you research mentioning purpose, method, results and significance of your research, in English in international conference 2. To understand how your presentation and discussion are received by other researchers 3. To understanding questions and comments given by other researchers, and to incorporate them for the improvement your research plan. 4. To understand and discuss the significance of presentations given by other researchers, and to make suggestions on their research, in English. 5. To make a paper reporting your research abstract, what discussion you had with other investigators about your research, what you have learned from other investigators’ presentations and what kind of discussion you had with them about their research, and your plan how you apply what you have learned in the conference for your future research.

授業計画 Course Schedule 第1回（月日、時限）担当教員名　講義内容など	履修者は、研究指導教員の指導のもとで、海外の学会、もしくは国内で開催される英語を公用語とする国際会議において、自分の研究成果について発表する準備を行い、会議に参加する。会議開催中は自分の発表のみならず、他の研究者の発表に関する討論を行い、発表内容、討論内容、会議で学んだことを今後の自分の研究にどのように活かすかについてレポートにまとめ提出する。	Students, under the advice of supervisors, prepare research presentations in conferences held overseas, or international conferences in Japan when its official language is English, attend the conference, and make presentation there. Students also need to have active discussions with other researchers in English. Students report the activities in the conference.

成績評価方法 Grading Phylosophy	レポートの内容から行動目標の達成度を研究指導教員ならびに教務委員あるいはプログラム長が評価する。 到達目標の１と２を指導教員の指導に従ってできれば合格（C以上）と判断する。 到達目標の１～３を指導に従ってできればB以上と判定する。 到達目標の１〜４を指導に従ってできればAと判定する。特に優れたレポート（上位10%）についてはA+と判定する。	Research supervisors together with members of the academic committee or program chair evaluate students based on students' reports. - A grade to students who fulfilled the Course Objectives 1, 2, 3 and 4. A+ will be awarded to those who fulfilled the points 1, 2, 3 and 4 and submitted outstanding report (top 10%). - B grade to students who fulfilled the points 1, 2 and 3 with the advice of supervisor. - C grade to students who fulfilled the points 1 and 2 according to the advices of supervisors.
学修時間の割り当て及び授業外における学修方法 Learning method	演習　 100 % 授業外における学習方法:自分自身の実験研究の立案、方法の選択、結果の解釈を行い、教員や学生同士での討論を常に行い、自らの創造力、自立力を向上させる。留学生などと研究に関する討論を積極的に英語で行い、英語によるコミュニケーション能力を向上させる。	Training 100% Out-of-class learning:  Plan your research, choose suitable methods, carefully interpret the results, and discuss about the research with supervisors and colleagues.  Talk with international students actively, and improve your communication skills in English prior to attending the international conference.

その他（受講上の注意点等） Notes	オンライン会議も対象とする。ただし、質疑応答など、評価項目は変更しないので、討論内容などはレポートに記載出来ない場合は評価に影響します。	Online conferences are allowed. Note that evaluation criteria does not change, and if you could not include discussion or Q&A in your report due to the limited activity of the online conferences, it affects the evaluation.
