Graduate Programs in Nursing Sciences at the Graduate School of Comprehensive Human Sciences of the University of Tsukuba

Curriculum Features

This Department is composed of two areas, which are "Clinical Nursing" and "Health Care Systems in Nursing". While each of those two areas offers several specialized subjects, they also offer common subjects in each specialty such as special seminars on nursing sciences or special studies on nursing sciences. In addition, we offer 8 "Specialized Basic Subjects" which provide fundamental knowledge necessary for the major. Besides, we make efforts to give an interdisciplinary perspective to our students by encouraging them to attend the "Graduate General Education".
This Department also offers courses, which meet the criteria of the curriculum to become a CNS Certified Nurse Specialist in cancer nursing, chronic care nursing or psychiatric mental health nursing. The CNS Certified Nurse Specialist curriculums specializing in cancer nursing and psychiatric mental health nursing belong to the "Clinical Nursing" area since the CNS Certified Nurse Specialist curriculum for chronic care nursing belongs to the "Health Care Systems in Nursing" area.
