The training program to become a CNS Certified Nurse Specialist in Cancer Nursing is provided as a part of the cancer specialist training plan“Wide Kanto multi-fields cancer specialist team training base
”promoted through the cooperative efforts of Chiba University, University of Tsukuba, Saitama Medical University and Ibaraki Prefectural University of Health Sciences. Classes for this project are mainly provided through an e-learning system. Some of the classes for the training program to become a CNS Certified Nurse Specialist in Cancer Nursing have also introduced e-learning system, allowing students to learn anytime, anywhere and any number of times. Furthermore, students have free access to viewing e-learning subjects other than nursing, so they can study areas of interest on their own initiative.

The training program to become a CNS Certified Nurse Specialist in Cancer Nursing is aiming at fostering clinicians endowed with a broad knowledge and high discernment by providing theoretical knowledge such as practical nursing, education, counseling, management, ethics and research as well as supporting education to increase overall problem-solving skills in the complex field of cancer care.
