New Integrated Curriculum

In 2004, the school introduced a new integrated curriculum, which places emphasis on “Essentials for Medical Professionals, ” problem-based learning (PBL) tutorials,and clinical clerkships.

 A major feature of the curriculum is the “Essentials for Medical Professionals” course provided through the first to fifth academic years, which teaches students to learn essential clinical skills beyond the categories of organs and symptoms. The “Essentials for Medical Professionals” course consists of seven units.
