授業概要 GIO(Study Subjects)	学位プログラム担当教員による、基礎医学、臨床医学、社会医学領域のそれぞれの研究分野において、実際に行なわれている研究内容や方法論に関する講義を受け、自らの研究分野とは異なる分野の研究者と討論することにより、研究の視野を広げる。学生は、講義内容と自分自身の学位論文研究を関連づけて、自分の学位論文研究にどのように活かすかを考察し、レポートにまとめる。	To decide their future research direction and to finally prepare for publication of their research in a biomedical journal, students will study through practical discussion on the background, purpose, methods, results, discussion, and conclusions of ongoing research in each group.

授業の到達目標（学修成果） SBO(Specific Behavior Objectives	１. 医学学位プログラムで行われている研究の概略を説明できる。 ２. 授業中あるいは授業後に質問して理解を深める。 ３. 自分自身の研究で扱ったことのない実験方法、データ解析法について、研究室を訪問してどのようなものか現場で学ぶ。 ４. 自分の研究室では行われていない研究方法を他の研究室で学び、または、共同研究として自らの研究に取り入れ、研究の幅を広げる計画を立案する。	1. To be able to explain the overview of ongoing researches in the doctoral programs. 2. To ask questions regarding the lecture and deepen the understanding on the subject. 3. To visit the laboratories and learn unfamiliar experimental or analytical methods. 4. To learn the experimental or analytical methods that are not available in the student’s laboratory, or incorporate such methods through collaboration, and propose a wide-spectrum research plan.

授業計画 Course Schedule 第1回（月日、時限）担当教員名　講義内容など	各研究指導教員が当該研究室で行っている研究の内容についておよそ45分程度で紹介する。この際、研究の成果だけでなく方法上の特徴についても説明する。その後、30分程度の質疑応答を行う。学生は、講義内容と自分自身の学位論文研究を関連づけてレポートにまとめ提出する。	Faculty members present the overview of the researches that are carried out in their laboratories in 45 minutes. They talk about the uniqueness of methodologies in addition to their results. Students ask questions in 30 minutes. Students make reports by summarizing the lecture and correlating it with their thesis researches.

成績評価方法 Grading Phylosophy	レポートの内容に基づく行動目標の達成度により、研究指導教員と教務委員あるいはプログラム長が評価する。 行動目標の１と２について大旨できていると判断できれば合格（C以上）と判断する。 行動目標の１、２に加え、３を行なっていることがレポートで読み取れればB以上と判定する。 行動目標の１，２に加え、３，４を行っていることがレポートから読み取れればAと判定し、特に優れたレポートと判断された場合、A+と判定する（上位10%）。	The achievement in Course Objectives is evaluated on the basis of reports by the research supervisors, together with academic committee members and/or Program chair. Score C if students meet the criteria in SBO 1 and 2. Score B if students meet the criteria in SBO 1, 2 and 3. Score A if students meet the criteria in SBO 1, 2, 3 and 4. Those who submitted an exceptional report is evaluated as A+ (top 10%).
学修時間の割り当て及び授業外における学修方法 Learning method	講義　100％ 授業外における学修：授業を行った教員の研究室を訪問するなどして、自分自身の実験研究の新たな展開を企画し、自らの創造力、自立力を向上させる。同期生や教員と積極的に話し合い、医学学位プログラムにおける研究活動についての理解を深める。	Lecture 100% Homework: Students may visit the laboratories of faculty members to design new directions in their own researches and promote their ability to perform original research. Students discuss with classmates and faculties, thereby deepening their understanding of the research activities in the doctral program in medicine.

その他（受講上の注意点等） Notes	レポートは、質問した内容と回答を記述しておくなど、各到達目標が評価できるように書くこと。 2021年度は他研究室への訪問は求めない。	Report must include your activities (e.g. your question raised at the seminar, and the answer, etc), in order to enable evaluation of Course Objectives from the description. Visiting other lags is not required in 2021FY.
