Kakenhi Seminar for non-Japanese Researchers

Kakenhi explanatory seminar for non-Japanese researchers studying at the University of Tsukuba

The Research Administrators Office at the University of Tsukuba, plans to hold a Kakenhi explanatory seminar for non-Japanese researchers atthe university of Tsukuba to help them well-prepared for his/her application for a Kakenhi grant (Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research) with sufficient instructions being offered. Kakenhi is one of the most fundamental governmental research grants which sponsors wide research areas ranging from natural sciences to social sciences. Kakenhi opens a door to researchers from any country. Its sponsors (JPSP and MEXT) provide informative English web page for foreign researchers. However, compared with the existing Japanese sources of Kakenhi information found in books, explanatory seminars etc., English sources of Kakenhi information are still very limited. To fill the information gap, the Research Administrators Officewill explain the basics: what to write, how to write, how the applications to be reviewed and what kinds of TIPs are better to be known in this seminar. Please feel free to join the seminar.
