*To apply for the Dual Master’s / Doctoral Degree Program, the applicant must be enrolled in: The University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), University of Science at Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) or National Taiwan University.

Master’s Program in Public Health Application
Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Sciences & Master of Public Health: Dual Degree Program

Admission is in April and October each year. Application guidelines for April admission will be released in the fall of 2025.
All required courses in this program are offered in English. International students are also welcome to enroll.

Methods of application
  • The applicants will submit the application form to the following office, either directly or by post mail (express or registered mail). The application has to be reached by the deadline below.
  • Application period
    From April 14 to May 14, 2025 Office hours: 9:00～17:00 (Lunch break: 12:15~13:15)
    (No application will be accepted after the deadline)
  • Submitted to

Admission selection The selection of students will be conducted by reviewing the application and the interview (oral examination).
Interview procedure and schedule

    Early June, 2025
  • Place
    The applicant will come to University of Tsukuba, Medical Science Building, 4th floor, 4A411
  • Oral examination
    Individual interview (General knowledge relating to public health and motivation for applying)

※The date and location of the interview will be arranged accordingly.

※Please bring your student identification card. It will be served as the admission ticket for the examination.
Announcement of examination result Passed applicants will be announced at the university website of https://webentry.ap-graduate.tsukuba.ac.jp/ with their application numbers in Mid-July 2025. We shall also notify the persons who passed the examination.
