About Nursing

Nursing studies is an academic discipline that contributes to improving the process by which people tackle any health problems they face in their life course. In other words, nursing not only entails treatment of illness and injury but also seeks to prevent disease and maintain and improve people’s health at community and family levels. Nursing helps people lead a healthy, authentic life in physical, mental, social, and cultural aspects. Nursing students will gain deep, benevolent insights by not only learning the scientific knowledge of human body structure and functions as well as diseases, but also by deepening their understanding of people’s living environments and cultural backgrounds as well as sociological and psychological changes that people experience as they grow older. Nursing students will acquire the specialist skills necessary for providing nursing services through an organic combination of various nursing exercises and practicums, which are developed based on a broad understanding of human nature and scientific theories.
