◯ Outcome of the course
　　　For one week of two weeks, I belonged to molecular biology laboratory of Dr. Shih-Tong Ding's and had 2 subject. One was to isolate pig adipose-derived stem cells（pADSCs） from back fat and proliferate the cells. Another one is to search the differentiation of ADSCs becoming to β cells. As a result I added some FGF-2 (growth factor) and collect at day 5 was the best breeding rate. About the differentiation, I can know by fallowing the day of quantity of secretion of insulin and immunocytochemistry with using the marker Islet1, Pdx1 and insulin. That data shows pADSCs differentiated to β cells but the all experiments has no significant, so it is necessary to repeat an experiment. Another one week, I had a lectures and basic maneuver training such as the immunocytochemistry and others experiments. I was endowed in the lecture at a valuable opportunity to hear a lecture of companies and was substantial two weeks.

◯ Experience in a foreign country
　　　I had an opportunity to go to Taiwan several months ago, but it was a sightseeing purpose. It was wide and was shallow knowing of Taiwan. This time I knew that I was taken to various places while belonging to a laboratory and talking with a Taiwanese student of the same generation. It was able to know core Taiwan. I was interested that what kind of study and everyday life dose science master and Ph.D. student of the same generation of other countries spend some time and I wanted to touch the flow in that time. It was the valuable opportunity to able to experience some of them in the short 2 weeks term. However it was too short to accomplish things in two weeks. Even a meaning to know the country briefly and a meaning to learn a language, I thought that longer-term studying abroad is necessary. In addition, I was always interested in the Asian area, and the curiosity increased more. One in future I want to go to the other Asia countries and wanted to touch the differentiation of the country as an Asian.

◯ Content of the Shot-term Visit Program
　　　The first week was the study in the laboratory, the second week was a lecture and training, but I wanted to perform the experiment in the laboratory a little more. There was not the time to prepare for the presentation after returning to the dormitory by a jam-packed schedule of the day after day. And we find the time between interval of a class and the experiment, we prepared for the presentation appeared one after another, and a class and an experiment became slightly disregarded. I felt that I am sorry to a person of company which lectured, teacher and teaching assistants.
　　　I was thankful at the point that all the transportation expenses, the hotel charges payment.

◯ Influence on your future career
　　　The feeling became strong to take work about foreign country by having participated in this Taiwanese internship program. There was the place that was about to think Japan's original tradition and differentiation to be natural with both the good aspect and the bad aspect. And there was the reality that it was not natural to have thought that it was natural if I paid more attention outside. I felt that there were a lot of places that I can flourished and I felt that the world were wide. In addition, English was made to realize that it was essential even if I entered to Ph.D., even if I looked for a job. I did not readily notice that I lived in Japan, but of course, as for the bilingual, further people were often found if even the same generation watched the world. If I have few thought to work in a foreign country and work about foreign countries, I thought that I must work hard at study.

◯ Other
　　　There were some friends who had a fever during internship. I was very worry about them.
It might be to be a transmission error of our side, but it was considerably confused without understanding the state of the dormitory. For example, I knew it after I came, there are no the sheet and hanger in dormitory.
　　　I think it was a considerably tight schedule, but thinks during was the just right period whether there is not it to be able to endure it, or not to be able to do it called two weeks including Saturday and Sunday.
　　　In circumstances to take a souvenir, I think that it was better if I can know the number of people or sex ratio of the visiting laboratory.
