Biofilms Enhance Oil Degradation By Interfacial Tubulation



Researchers from the University of Tsukuba in collaboration with French researchers have discovered that oil-degrading bacteria, widely found in the ocean, grow around oil droplets forming dense communities at the oil-water interface.
